Make The Turn Nominated, and Named Finalist For Two Emmy Awards

We are thrilled to share that Make The Turn has been nominated, and named finalist, for two Michigan Emmy Awards by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) Michigan Chapter.

The nominations recognize two very different projects, each rooted in the same philosophy that drives our work every day: telling meaningful stories that connect with audiences and create impact for our partners.

As a company that operates at the intersection of media, marketing, and storytelling, this recognition is an incredible honor and a testament to the talented team members, clients, and partners who trust us to help bring their visions to life.

“This recognition is a testament to the incredible work our entire team puts in every day,” said Mike Sullivan, Founder & CEO of Make The Turn.

“While we're honored to receive these nominations, what makes me proud is the people behind the work. Justin Rose and George Fox have poured countless hours into these projects, leading them from concept to completion with an incredible level of care, creativity, and commitment. These nominations are a reflection of their leadership, the talent of our production team, and perhaps most importantly, the trust our partners place in us. We never take that responsibility lightly.”

Branded Content Nomination

My Drive, My City, My Show

Nominated in the Branded Content category, My Drive, My City, My Show was developed in partnership with the Detroit Auto Show and showcased the people, stories, and culture that make Detroit one of the most influential automotive cities in the world.

The series blended authentic storytelling, strategic content creation, and high-quality production to create a unique branded experience that connected with audiences while highlighting the impact and legacy of the Detroit Auto Show.

Magazine Program Nomination

MiStory: The People Behind Golf

Partner: Michigan Golf Course Superintendents Association (MiGCSA)

Nominated in the Magazine Program category, MiStory: The People Behind Golf shines a spotlight on the individuals whose work often goes unseen but plays a vital role in the game of golf.

Created in partnership with MiGCSA, the program explores the stories, dedication, and expertise of golf course superintendents and industry professionals throughout Michigan. Through thoughtful interviews and compelling visual storytelling, the series provides a deeper appreciation for the people who help shape the game every day.

Recognition That Means Something

Awards are never the goal. Creating exceptional work, delivering meaningful results, and helping our partners grow is.

What makes these nominations especially meaningful is that they represent the collective effort of our team and our partners. Great stories don't happen without trust, collaboration, and a shared commitment to excellence.

We are incredibly grateful to the Detroit Auto Show, MiGCSA, and everyone involved in bringing these projects to life.

Looking Ahead

At Make The Turn, being nominated for two Emmy Awards is an exciting milestone, but more importantly, it reinforces our commitment to producing work that matters.

To our team, our partners, and everyone who has supported us along the way, thank you.

We are honored by this recognition and excited for what lies ahead.
